Calibrating the MC74 IR Hookswitch

Overview

Occasionally the IR sensor of MC74 phones in areas of elevated natural incandescent light levels will require calibration to ensure the accuracy of onhook and offhook hookswitch events. 

Feature

To calibrate the MC74 IR hookswitch, a user can complete the following steps:

To have this feature enabled, please reach out to Meraki support via support@meraki.com

 

  1. Tap Settings -> Calibrate Handset Sensor


     
  2. Tap Continue. Be sure to have the handset placed onhook when continue is tapped.
