Configure personalized Music-on-Hold

Overview

Several businesses like to have a personalized music or audio to be played when their callers are put on hold. A common use-case is to make customers aware of new product offerings while they wait on hold.

Configuring Hold Music

Music on Hold can be set on a network-wide basis, which implies if any of the phones in the network put a caller on hold, the caller will hear the custom audio. To set a custom music on hold for your network, go to Phones -> Settings. Hit Choose File and upload the audio file from your PC.

 

 

Hit save once the upload is complete. Make a call and put the call on hold to confirm.
