Purple Screen of Death with VMware ESXi 5.1

VMware is aware of a bug that causes ESXi 5.1 hosts to crash when starting, suspending or shutting down virtual machines and is working on a fix. VMware has a workaround below. Please note the workaround may require a reboot of the ESX host after the settings are applied.
