Slow Roaming on Mac OS X with RADIUS

Table of contents
No headers

Apple devices running OS X, predominantly MacBooks, may experience long delays when authenticating to an SSID configured for 802.1X authentication with RADIUS. Delay may also occur when roaming between access points within such an SSID. This can occur if the server certificate, or any certificate in the chain that signed the server certificate, is configured with extensions for Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and/or Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP).
