Client VPN clients cannot connect to machines with dual-nic's
Table of contents
Client VPN is valuable for the fact that it can connect remote users to the internal LAN securely. Sometimes a Client VPN may have connection issues to devices on the LAN with dual NIC's. Often times these machines have a WAN and a LAN NIC. If you cannot connect or ping to these devices from a Client VPN check the routes of the Machines in question. Do this by using the command "route print" in the command prompt. Check that there are gateways set for the LAN and not just the WAN.
