Determining which clients are currently using client VPN

When setting up a Client VPN on an MX Security Appliance, it is sometimes necessary to determine which clients are currently connected to the VPN.
 
When clients are connected via the Client VPN, they will appear in the Clients list (Monitor > Clients) and several fields can be used to get more information about each client:

  • The User field will indicate the username of the client connected.
  • The IP address field will indicate an IP address in the range assigned to client VPN.
  • The MAC address field will indicate "N/A (Client VPN)" as shown below:

If these fields do not currently appear, use the + button on the right side of the column headers to add additional fields to the table.
