Organization Assurance Overview

What is Organization Assurance Overview?

Org-XMs.png

Experience metrics is currently in beta and requires a minimum firmware of MR 27; To opt in, please navigate to Organization-wide > Configure > Early Access

The Organization Assurance Overview page is designed to consolidate complex network data into actionable insights. By aggregating telemetry from across the entire infrastructure, it allows administrators to move away from reactive troubleshooting and toward a proactive management model.

It contains information on impacted networks and top insights. Additionally, It provides network overview data on:

  • Impacted clients
  • Wireless successful connections
  • Time to connect
  • Channel availability
  • Coverage

For API information (beta), please visit Cisco DevNet Documentation.

Organization Assurance Overview data are based on network experience metrics, which are currently wireless only metrics.

Time and Data Selector

The Time and Data selector allows users to select a time range either by the drop down, or dragging and dropping the graph box, to visualize one of the following:

  • Active clients
  • Impacted clients
  • Impacted networks

The x-axis displays the selected time frame, while the y-axis a view of the selected data. Hovering over the graph provides specific details for the selected data at the hover point. The timeline automatically refreshes as new data comes in unless the user manually toggles off auto refresh.

Top Insights

Org-Top-Insights.png

Top insights gives admins knowledge on either their most impacted networks or their most impacted Experience metrics. This helps admins identify which networks are more degraded than others, or which networks are seeing a end user experience declined based off the network experience metrics.

Networks

The networks section provides users with an overview of their top networks. This can be filtered by impacted clients, wireless successful connections, time to connect clients, channel availability, and coverage.

Degraded wireless successful connections, time to connect, channel availability, and/or coverage will be marked with a status indicating these metrics are below their default thresholds of:

  • 95-100 is a good status (no visual indication)
  • 90-94 is a fair status
  • 0-89 is a poor status
