Meraki Subscription Licensing - Network Binding

Overview

This article provides a comprehensive guide on the process of network binding, which refers to the act of linking a subscription to one or more networks. By doing so, the devices connected to the networks can access the licenses available in that particular subscription.

Network Binding

Customers have two options to associate a network with a subscription: single network binding and bulk network binding.

Single Network Binding

Single network binding refers to the process of linking a network to a subscription one network at a time.

This will initiate a 30-day grace period for the devices

Warning: Be careful when doing this because when a network becomes unbound, it will be out of compliance if not bound to a new subscription. For more information about out-of-compliance, please check out this document - Meraki Subscription  Licensing Out Of Compliance
