Creating a Windows Group For MAC Based Authentication
To create a Windows security group follow the steps below. Once the group is created, add User accounts as members that you wish to authenticate.
- Open the Active Directory Users and Computers console.
- RIght click the OU where you want to create the Windows group.
- Select New > Group.
- Type the Group name and choose the appropriate Group scope (Normally Global) and specify the Group type as Security.
- Click OK.
- Right click the Group.
- Choose Properties.
- Click the Members tab.
- Add each User account you wish to authenticate.
- Click OK.
