Getting Started
This section provides a step-by-step guide to help you get started with Workflows, a platform built to integrate and automate processes across the Cisco portfolio and third-party systems. Using this platform, you can design, manage, and leverage network automations to simplify and accelerate the deployment and management of critical infrastructure in both branch and campus networks.
Workflows can be accessed without any license and you do not need to be a Meraki customer to benefit from the value of Workflows.
Procedure
The Workflows dashboard is integrated into the Meraki Dashboard and is available only upon request.
- To access workflows, submit an Early Access Request form.
- Create a Meraki Account. If you do not already have a Meraki account, visit Select Region - Meraki Dashboard to create one. When you create a new Meraki account, you’ll also set up a Meraki Dashboard account and a Meraki organization at the same time.

If the Automation option is not visible on the Meraki navigation menu, it indicates that your account has not been enabled for Workflows yet. Please allow additional time for the feature to be activated.

Once your Meraki account is created and your Workflows access request is approved, log in to the Meraki Dashboard.
- In the Meraki Dashboard, navigate to the Automation section to access the Workflows environment and begin automating tasks across Cisco Networking.
