JDBC Login Credentials

Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) is an API for connecting to remote databases. JDBC provides connectivity to a wide range of databases.

Use JDBC Login Credentials account keys with Database workflow activities and JDBC Database Server targets.

Complete the following steps to create a new JDBC Login Credentials account key:

1. From the left navigation menu, click Automation > Targets.
2. From the Account Keys tab, click New account key.
3. On the New Account Key page, from the Account Key Type drop-down list, choose JDBC Login Credentials.
4. Enter a unique display name for the account key in the Display Name field and a brief description in the Description field.
5. In the Database area, specify the following:
   • Username - Enter the database username.
   • Password - Enter the password associated with the username. Click the eye icon to display or hide the characters.
6. Click Save.
