Web Service
Web services are components on a Web server that a client application can call by making HTTP requests across the Web. Automation supports general web service calls. The adapter allows users to send requests using web service methods and other parameters to generate XML output.

HTTP requests are limited to a maximum payload of 4 MB. If a Large String variable is used, the limit is 10 MB.

As of October 4, 2023, the size of the Large String workflow variable type is limited to 10 MB.
All Web Service activities use HTTP Endpoint targets with HTTP Basic Authentication, HTTP Client Certificate Authentication, or HTTP Signature Authentication.
