About Splash Page Logo, Image, HTML and CSS Files
Meraki networks offer two types of Splash pages. Networks that have billing enabled use a simple version of splash page whose HTML cannot be modified. All other networks have a more robust splash page management and editing tool available to them. This article describes maximum file sizes and other parameters allowed in each splash page management system.
Note: It is not possible to customize the CSS and HTML of a billing splash page. Customization is unavailable because it would expose the network to possible malicious behavior. If the customized page is not properly written, it could easily result in a hacker modifying code to grant unauthorized access and possibly harvest customer information.
Billing-enabled Networks
Logo file:
Maximum resolution: 190x244 pixels - oversized images are automatically resized after import
Maximum file size: 200 KB
Supported file types: .jpeg, .gif, .png
All Other Networks
Logo file:
Maximum resolution: 190x244 pixels - oversized images are automatically resized after import
Maximum file size: 1 MB
Supported file types: .jpeg, .gif, .png
All other uploaded image files:
Maximum resolution: None
Maximum file size: 1 MB
Supported file types: .jpeg, .gif, .png
Your code:
Supported HTML extensions: .html, .htm
Supported Style sheet extensions: .css
No file size limits for HTML or .css files
Also support .zip upload for multiple files at once
.zip must be at most 1 MB
Unzipped contents at most 2 MB
At most 50 files in the.zip
