Enterprise Agreement Utilization

Enterprise Agreements are subscriptions that can cover multiple organizations, and allow you to over consume your EA, and pay a consolidated bill at the end of your True Forward period.  To give you further insight into how close you are to owing a bill, or how much you are over consumed, we have added visibility into utilization of Cloud Managed IT Suites in dashboard. 

This article will review the different insights we provide.  Visibility to legacy Meraki Suites or non-Meraki Suites is provided through EA Workspace.

Suite Utilization

You can review your Suite Utilization in the Subscription & License Info page in dashboard.  This information is aggregated across all the different Networks that our bound to your Enterprise Agreement, even if they are in different organizations.  This will show you how much you are over or under utilized for each suite.  Over utilization within a suite will likely result in a invoice at the time of True Forward.  Note that these calculations are done by license quantity, and may not take into account the differing values of licenses.  For a precise reporting of the dollar value you are under or over consumed please reach out to your partner.

Here is an example of a customer who is under-consumed in their Networking Suite.

This shows they have only used 20% of their licenses in the Networking Suite and are likely not close to triggering a bill at True Forward.

Here is another example where a customer is over-consumed.

This shows the customer has used 200% of their licenses and will likely trigger a bill at True Forward.

Organization Utilization

You can also review how much of your entire Enterprise Agreement is being utilized by each organization.  This will give you insight into what parts of your business are consuming the most of your EA, and can help you quickly navigate to these organizations.  This information is found in the Subscription Details Side Panel.

This example is showing that 13% of the EA's licenses are being used by Org 1, and another 7% being used by Org 2.  Note that the utilization here is across all of your purchased suites, and your total utilization can exceed 100% (indicating you will likely trigger a True Forward).
