Subscription - Licensing Network Binding

Overview

This article provides a comprehensive guide on the process of network binding, which refers to the act of linking a subscription to one or more networks. By doing so, the devices connected to the networks can access the licenses available in that particular subscription.

Network Binding

Customers have two options to associate a network with a subscription: single network binding and bulk network binding.

Single Network Binding

Single network binding refers to the process of linking a network to a subscription one network at a time.

1.1.             To bind a network to a licensing subscription, log into Dashboard and navigate to Organization > Subscriptions & license info section.

To learn how to adjust or add licenses to your subscription mid-term, refer to the Subscription - Licensing Changes document.

1.4.              Upon successfully completing the network binding process, you will receive a confirmation message.

Moving a Network to a Different Subscription

Customers possess the ability to transfer a network association from one subscription to another.   As a result of this process, the devices in the network that was transferred will stop accessing the licenses from in the original subscription and start accessing the licenses from the new subscription.

3.1.             Log into Dashboard and navigate to Organization > Subscriptions & license info section.
