Subscription Feature Tier Upgrade
Overview
Subscription Licensing provides customers with a simple, flexible way to consume and manage their solutions. This model is better aligned to customer outcomes to make it easier to consume their products while also meeting their growing business needs. Customers can seamlessly upgrade their features tier if they have the correct entitlement. If a customer needs to make changes to their subscription to get the correct entitlement please follow the Subscription - Licensing Changes
Note: When claiming a network into a Subscription by default the product classes will be set to Essentials regardless of the entitlement the subscription has.
Upgrading Feature Tier
1.1 To upgrade a product class in a subscription, log into Dashboard and navigate to Organization > Subscriptions & license info section.
1.2. Proceed to select the Networks tab located at the top. Search for the desired network name you want to upgrade, and click on it.
1.3. Proceed to select the product class you would like to upgrade to the new feature tier and extend the dropdown and you will see the current feature tier for that particular product class, there you will see the ability to Switch Tier
1.4 Select the new feature tier and click Submit
1.5 You will see that change takes place automatically in the Dashboard.
Warning: Be careful when doing this because when you don't have the correct entitlements will cause an out-of-compliance action. For more information about out-of-compliance, please check out this document - Subscription Licensing - Compliance
