Renaming a Network or Organization
Changing a Network Name
Note: Only full organization admins have the ability to rename a network or organization. For more information about Dashboard admin types and permissions, please refer to our documentation on Managing Organization/Network Administrators and Guest Ambassador Accounts.
There are two ways to update a network's name in Dashboard.
Under Network-wide

In Dashboard, navigate to Network-wide > Configure > General.

The first option on the page is to change the network name. Update this field as desired.
- Click Save changes.
Under Organization Overview
- In Dashboard, navigate to Organization > Monitor > Overview.
- Expand the network list on the right by clicking the arrow:
- Hover over the network to be updated, and click the pencil icon that appears:
- Change the network name, and click the check box to save changes:
Changing an Organization Name
Please note, that while changing the name of the Organization is generally non-disruptive to the Organization itself, if the organization houses Systems Manager, the SCEP certificate name will not update with the organization name change and a ticket will need to be opened with support to update this.
- In Dashboard, navigate to Organization > Configure > Settings
- The first option on the page is to change the organization name. Update this field as desired.
- Click Save changes.
