Meraki Go - トラブルシューティングガイド

The LED of the Meraki Go access point repeatedly illuminates multiple colors for a long time

  1. If this phenomenon occurs on an access point that is attempting a mesh connection, see the following article "Mesh connections between Meraki Go access points cannot be configured properly"

  2. If this phenomenon occurs on a wired Meraki Go access point, try the following

    1. Depending on the internet connection you are connected to, it may take about 10~15 minutes to upgrade your Meraki Go access point. Please wait for a while as it is

    2. If the situation does not change after 15 minutes, unplug the wired Ethernet (LAN) cable connected to the Meraki Go, plug it in again after 20 seconds, and check the status for 10~15 minutes

    3. If the situation still persists, with the Meraki Go powered from an outlet, unplug the Ethernet cable, use a thin pin or the tip of a paper clip to press and hold the "(Restore)"/"(Reset)Reset" button on the back of the console (there is a small hole near the Ethernet port) for 15 seconds, and then use the Meraki Go Reset the access point itself, and then reinsert and connect to the wired Ethernet (LAN) on the Internet side

Mesh connections between Meraki Go access points cannot be configured properly

  1. Upgrading the firmware of a Meraki Go access point with a mesh connection may take longer than if it is connected via a wired LAN. If the oncoming access point is online for more than 15 minutes in the initial wireless mesh connection, connect the oncoming Meraki Go access point directly to the wired LAN until the LED light turns green or blue and perform the upgrade

  2. All Mesh counterpart Meraki Go access points are upgraded with a wired LAN connection and the LED light is green or blue, and you're ready to go. Check the LAN wiring and LED lamp status of the Meraki Go access point installed via wired connection, and when it is online (solid green), disconnect the Ethernet of the Meraki Go access point installed opposite to the other place with a mesh connection, and try the mesh connection again

  3. If the above steps do not work well to configure the mesh, unplug and unplug the Meraki Go access point that is installed in a remote location with a mesh connection, and use the tip of a thin pin or paper clip to press and hold the "(Restore)Restore"/ "(Reset)Reset" button on the back of the unit (there is a small hole near the Ethernet port) for 15 seconds. Reset the Meraki Go access point itself and try to connect to the Mesh again. If it still doesn't connect, repeat steps 1 and 2 again

The LED on the Meraki Go access point is flashing orange repeatedly

  1. This phenomenon occurs in an environment where the Meraki Go access point is unable to connect to the Internet, or in "rare cases" it is connected to an outdated, poorly performing gateway modem/router and does not provide sufficient Internet performance. First of all, it is possible that the LAN cable is insufficiently connected or contacted. Make sure your modem/router is properly connected to the internet and that your Meraki Go access point is properly connected to your modem/router.
