Rear panel
- The chassis has a front-to-rear airflow.
- Four internal fans pull cool air into the front of the chassis and blow it over the internal parts to maintain the system at a safe temperature.
- The fans are located at the rear of the chassis.
Power
Campus Gateway ships with redundant power supply units, either AC or DC, depending on the customer’s preference.
The Power Entry Module (PEM) supplies backup power to the system, and the Campus Gateway can operate continuously with just one PEM installed. You can replace a PEM without turning off the system. All PEM connections and replacements are done from the back of the chassis. The main power switch is also located near the PEMs at the rear of the chassis.
