MT40 Energy Usage Report

Total Alerts 

1. Alert Counter: Displays the total number of alerts. 

2. Trend Indicator: Shows percentage change from the previous period. 

3. Statistical Summary: Shows the Average, High and Low values over the specified period.

4. Historical Comparison Chart: 

   1. Bar chart comparing current day (May 6) with a previous day (Apr 29) 

   2. X-axis shows time intervals  

   3. Y-axis shows alert count  

5. Event log button in the top-right provides access to detailed alert history 

6. CSV download button allows exporting the data 

Top Sensors by Alert Count 

This panel identifies which sensors are generating the most alerts:

1. Bar Chart Display:  Lists sensors in descending order by alert frequency 

2. View details link at bottom-right for accessing more comprehensive information 

3. CSV download button for exporting the data 

Top Alert Types by Alert Count 

This panel categorizes alerts by type:

1. Bar Chart Display:  Lists alert types in descending order by frequency 

2. Categories includes "Real power," "Apparent power," "Current," and "Frequency" 

Total Energy Usage 

This section provides energy consumption metrics from MT sensors:

1. Overall Summary:

   1. Total usage: Total usage over the selected period 

   2. Statistical Summary: Average, High and Low usage over the selected period 

2. Usage Chart: Bar chart showing energy consumption over time intervals 

   1. X-axis displays time periods 

   2. Y-axis shows usage in kWh

Energy Insights 

1. Estimated Electricity Cost: Total estimated electricity cost calculated for the aggregated data. The cost factor can be adjusted under Network-wide>General. 

2. Estimated GHG Emissions: Total estimated greenhouse emission calculated for the aggregated data. The emission factor can be adjusted under Network-wide>General. 

Device and Tag Usage Analysis

Top Usage by Device 

1. Bar Chart Display:  Lists devices in descending order by energy consumption 

2. View details link for more comprehensive information 

Top Usage by Tag 

1. Bar Chart Display:  Lists device tags in descending order by energy consumption  

2. Provides insights into which group of sensors consume the most energy 

Monitoring Alert Patterns 

1. Identify Problem Areas: Use the "Top sensors by alert count" panel to quickly identify which devices are experiencing issues most frequently. 

2. Recognize Alert Types: The "Top alert types by alert count" panel helps you understand which specific metrics are triggering alerts. 

3. Track Trends Over Time: The historical comparison chart allows you to see if alert frequency is increasing or decreasing. 

Energy Management 

1. Monitor Consumption: Track overall and device-specific energy usage to identify potential energy-saving opportunities. 

2. Cost Analysis: View estimated electricity costs to understand the financial impact of your energy consumption. 

3. Environmental Impact: Monitor estimated greenhouse gas emissions to track your environmental footprint. 

Data Export 

For further analysis, you can export data in CSV format using the CSV download buttons located in the top-right corner of most panels. 

Alert Profiles Configuration 

For information on how to set up and manage Alert Profiles: 

1. Navigate to Sensors > Monitor > Overview > Alert Profiles 

2. From there, you can create new alert profiles or edit existing ones 

3. Configure notification recipients (email and SMS) and alert conditions
