Workflows Access

About Workflows Access

Workflows can be accessed without any license and you do not need to be a Meraki customer to benefit from the value of Workflows.

The Workflows dashboard is integrated within the Meraki Dashboard and can be accessed by users in the US, EU, and APJC regions.

If you are in a commercial region (US, EU, APJC), the Automation menu will appear automatically if:

  • You have Organization Full Admin access (can perform all actions), or
  • You have Organization Observer access (read-only).

To get started:

  • If you do not have a Meraki account, visit Select Region - Meraki Dashboard to create one.
  • After creating your account, set up a network (even an empty network is sufficient). This enables the Automation menu.

Once your account is set up, log in to the Meraki Dashboard, navigate to the Automation section, and start using Workflows to automate tasks across Cisco Networking.

Workflows Source IPs Now Available in Firewall Info

Workflows source IP addresses for all deployment regions are now available in Help > Support > Firewall Info within the Meraki Dashboard. This makes it easy to find the IPs you need for firewall configuration.

If your environment uses firewall rules to restrict inbound connections, or if you use the Meraki Dashboard with IP restrictions, you need to allow traffic from Workflows source IPs. Previously, finding these IPs required contacting support. Now they're available directly in the Dashboard.

When You Need This

  • API-restricted Dashboard access: If your Dashboard is configured with IP restrictions, ensure the Workflows source IPs are permitted.

  • Target creation without Remote: When creating HTTP Endpoint targets that connect directly (without using a Remote), your firewall must allow traffic from the Workflows source IPs.
