FMC Credentials

Overview

Cisco FMC (Firepower Management Center) enables centralized management of security policies, device configuration, and threat detection across your network environment. Using FMC Credentials account keys, you can automate workflows and securely interact with FMC Endpoint targets.

Procedure

Use FMC Credentials account keys to authenticate and authorize workflow activities and endpoint integrations with Cisco FMC.

Complete the following steps to create a new FMC Credentials account key:

1. From the left navigation menu, click Automation > Targets.
2. From the Account Keys tab, click New account key.
3. On the New Account Key page, from the Account Key Type drop-down list, choose FMC Credentials.
4. Enter a unique display name for the account key in the Display Name field and a brief description in the Description field.
5. In the Credentials area, specify the following:
   1. Username: Enter the username.
   2. Password: Enter the password for the specified username.
6. Click Save.
