Overview

The Meraki C8355-G2-MX is a Cisco Secure Router that provides Security and SD-WAN, next-generation firewall services, and high-speed branch connectivity for large branch environments. It is designed for distributed networks that require remote administration and supports simple deployment through the Meraki dashboard with minimal pre-configuration required in most locations. It is ideal for network administrators who demand both ease of deployment and a state-of-the-art feature set.

The C8355-G2-MX appliance provides the following features:

Warranty 

MX Warranty coverage periods are as follows:

C8355-G2-MX 2 Year Cisco 8300 Series Secure Routers come standard with a Cisco Limited 2-Year Return To Factory Hardware Warranty. 

Additional warranty information can be found on the Cisco Limited Hardware Warranty Terms page of the Cisco website. 

If your Cisco Meraki device fails and the problem cannot be resolved by troubleshooting, contact support to address the issue. Once support determines that the device is in a failed state, they can process an RMA and send out a replacement device free of charge. In most circumstances, the RMA will include a pre-paid shipping label so the faulty equipment can be returned.

To start a hardware replacement for non-functioning equipment under warranty, use the original packaging the hardware came in. The original packaging contains the device serial number and order details, which may be needed for return shipping.

 

Common Event Log Messages

Common event logs exist for security appliance events. As such, no specific C8355-G2-MX event log entries are required at this time.
