To create a more unified experience managing and monitoring your devices, we’re standardizing how we refer to devices in the Meraki dashboard.
What are we changing?
The following terms will be standardized across Meraki dashboard. You’ll start to see them updated on pages throughout dashboard. For example, both Meraki MR devices and Catalyst wireless devices monitored and managed in the Meraki dashboard will be referred to as “Access Points”, and the technology will be referred to as “Wireless”; you will no longer see “MRs” being used unless we are referring to a specific model.
