MV Feature Compatibility

To ensure optimal performance and accuracy, certain advanced analytics features on MV cameras are designed to operate exclusively. When configuring your camera settings, please be aware of the following interactions between High Dynamic Range (HDR) and AI-powered analytics.

HDR and Analytics Enabling High Dynamic Range (HDR) optimizes video quality in challenging lighting conditions. However, when HDR is active, the following analytics features will be unavailable:

• Attribute Search: This feature requires standard video processing and cannot run simultaneously with HDR.

License Plate Recognition (LPR) License Plate Recognition is a specialized mode that dedicates the camera's processing power to accurately capturing and reading plates.

• Exclusivity: Enabling LPR on supported models (such as the MV53X) automatically disables other computer vision features, including Attribute Search.
