HTTP Bearer Authentication

HTTP authentication provides a general framework for access control and authentication in web-based applications. HTTP Bearer authentication uses a bearer token to authenticate with the target.

Use HTTP Bearer Authentication account keys with File Operations and Web Service workflow activities and HTTP Endpoint targets.

Complete the following steps to create a new HTTP Bearer Authentication account key:

1. From the left navigation menu, click Automation > Targets.
2. From the Account Keys tab, click New account key.
3. On the New Account Key page, from the Account Key Type drop-down list, choose HTTP Bearer Authentication.
4. Enter a unique display name for the account key in the Display Name field and a brief description in the Description field.
5. In the Credentials area, specify the following:
   • Bearer Token - Enter a valid Bearer token.
6. Click Save.
