Infoblox Token-Based Credentials

Infoblox Token-Based Credentials provide secure authentication for workflows interacting with Infoblox Universal DDI and Threat Defense APIs. To enable Workflows to authenticate API requests, create an Infoblox account key that stores the Infoblox API key.

Use Infoblox Token-Based Credentials account keys with Infoblox workflow activities and Infoblox Endpoint targets.

Prerequisites

Obtain your Infoblox API key before starting the account key setup procedure. The API key allows Workflows to authenticate requests to the Infoblox APIs available to your account.

Proceedure

Complete the following steps to create a new Infoblox Token-Based Credentials account key:

1. From the left navigation menu, click Automation > Account Keys.

2. Click New Account Key.

3. From the Account Key Type drop-down list, choose Infoblox Token-Based Credentials.

4. Enter a unique display name for the account key in the Display Name field and a brief description in the Description field.

5. In the Credentials area, specify the following:

   • API Key: Enter your Infoblox API key.

6. Click Save to save the credential.
