Finding Console Logs for iOS Troubleshooting

The iOS console contains useful historical information about an iOS device's behavior, which can be helpful in troubleshooting problems with Systems Manager. The following instructions explain how to use Xcode to view and download an iOS device's console logs:

  1. Go to the Mac App store and download Xcode.

  2. Open Xcode.

  3. Navigate to the Menu Bar > Window > Devices, or use the keyboard shortcut Shift + Command + 2.

  4. Select the device.

  5. Click the arrow on the bottom to open up the console

  6. Run the operation, you'll see the console output below. Afterwards, use the bottom right button to output the console to a log file.
