Testing Systems Manager beta apps for iOS and Android

Testing Systems Manager beta apps for iOS and Android

Meraki Systems Manager app updates can be tested prior to release via public beta app testing programs. Systems Manager leverages programs by Apple and Google to deploy these pre-release testing builds. These are useful for administrators to stay aware of app update changes before devices update. Administrators are encouraged to subscribe to these public pre-release testing programs.

If any issues are detected in apps during pre-release testing please notify Meraki Support to bring awareness to our product and development teams.

iOS and iPadOS

Pre-production builds of the SM iOS app are deployed to Apple's beta app program, Testflight. If any public SM iOS beta app builds are available for testing they can be obtained here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/w9Gcguqk

Note: Testflight beta builds are valid to download for 90 days. Depending on the development cycle, there may be no TestFlight builds available. In that case, please check back again later.

Send Feedback

Users are encouraged to take screenshots and send feedback via Apple's TestFlight "send feedback" option. This is a great way to send feedback because it goes directly to our development teams and also includes device logging (in the event of app crashes, this is extremely helpful). See "Giving feedback" at testflight.apple.com for more information on TestFlight and how to share feedback.

Android

SM app changes are deployed to the Google PlayStore Beta channel first, which is available to any device which subscribes to these beta updates. To subscribe to beta app updates, simply search for the "Meraki Systems Manager" app in the Google PlayStore and find the "Join the beta" section. For additional information about joining beta app releases view the Google documentation
