Cloud Monitoring End of Service - Transition to Cloud-Native IOS XE

Cloud montioring for Catalyst switching is transitioning to cloud-native IOS XE hybrid mode and all monitored switches must transition to cloud-native IOS XE hybrid operating mode by January 31, 2026. Starting May 1, 2025, only Meraki dashboard organizations with any existing cloud monitored Catalyst switches can continue to onboard switches with the onboarding application. The last day to onboard any cloud monitored Catalyst switch can be onboarded with the onboarding application is November 1, 2025. 

The last day of support for cloud monitored Catalyst switches is January 31, 2026 and cloud monitoring features will no longer function for switches that have not transitioned to cloud-native IOS XE. These switches will show offline in the Meraki dashboard but there will be no impact to device operations.

End of Service Milestones

May 1, 2025 Starting this day, only dashboard organizations with existing cloud monitored switches onboarded to dashboard can onboard to cloud monitoring with the onboard application.

New dashboard organizations must onboard Catalyst switches with cloud-native IOS XE and hybrid operating mode. Cloud-Native IOS XE
November 1, 2025 This is the last day any dashboard organization can onboard to cloud monitoring with the onboard application. All Catalyst switches must be onboarded with cloud-native IOS XE and hybrid operating mode. Cloud-Native IOS XE
January 31, 2026 Last day cloud monitoring for Catalyst switching features will function. Cloud monitoring Catalyst switches that have not transitioned to cloud-native IOS XE will be marked disconnected in the dashboard. There will be no impact to device operations.
