Using Fast Lane with Systems Manager
The Cisco-Apple fast lane is a new feature released with iOS 10 that allows IT administrators to optimize their Cisco wireless networks for iOS devices. Using Systems Manager, network bandwidth can be automatically prioritized to business-critical applications like Cisco Spark with QoS.
Configuration

Navigate to Systems manager > Settings and create a profile, or select an existing one. Scope the profile for your clients.

Click + Add Settings and select WiFi to create a wireless payload.
- Enter your SSID settings for a Manual configuration.

The default configuration Allow QoS marking will accept all apps' configured priorities. Alternatively, set Restrict QoS marking to whitelist specific apps for prioritization.
Once changes are saved, your wireless settings can be seen on the device in Settings > General > Device Management > Meraki Management and viewing "More Details". The apps listed will automatically adhere to their QoS settings when connecting to Aironet access points.
