Meraki Vision Changelog

Introduction

This summarizes the changes on the Meraki Vision camera viewing portal launched publicly on November 16th, 2021.

May 16th, 2022 (v1.5.2)

  • Adds default video wall rotation to rotate through all video walls unless edited
  • Adds camera list search by camera model
  • Adds status overlay for loading indicator for fisheye cameras
  • Conducts Motion Search and export on selected camera on the video wall
  • Fixes logout timeout issue while in full screen video wall
  • Some MV21/71 playback improvements 

April 12th, 2022 (v1.4.2)

  • Added the ability to "Change organization" under the top-right user icon
  • Added larger "Update" button for when a new release is available
  • Loads the first online camera on the camera list (fixed issue from previous implementation)
  • Added on-hover camera details on the camera list to show associated tags and model number
    • Note: Tags are editable on Meraki Dashboard, accessible via bottom-left of Meraki Vision
  • Changed the status color for "Alerting" cameras to show as green and online instead of red
  • Offline cameras show as "Offline" on the video wall
  • Changed loading spinners to the Cisco logo in various places
  • Various performance and stability improvements in video playback on video wall 

March 18th, 2022 (v1.4.0)

  • Added a "What's New" dropdown to the header to show recent updates to the interface and notify you if an update is available

  • Fix for video wall screenshot 
  • Hover over camera list to view full camera name

March 8th, 2022

  • You can now digitally zoom and dewarp on a selected camera on the video wall

  • You can now export dewarped fisheye footage

  • You can now run a Motion Search on MV2 cameras even without Cloud Archive

  • Page now loads the first online camera on the list

  • Fixes page selection error on exports page

  • Improves page performance of Advanced Motion Search
