Setting Up Your Cisco Secure Connect Account
Cisco Secure Connect Account Setup
Welcome Cisco Secure Connect! Secure Connect combines the security capabilities of Cisco Umbrella with the simplicity of Cisco Meraki. With Secure Connect you will be interacting with both the Secure Connect dashboard and the Umbrella dashboard. Most of your time will be spent in the Secure Connect dashboard, which is powered by Meraki. You will go to the Umbrella dashboard to configure select services. Don't worry, we have simplified the experience to make it easy to go between the two sites.
Setup Instructions
First, locate your welcome email; the subject includes "Setting Up Secure Connect..." The actions needed will vary based on your relationship with Cisco. The goals are the same for all steps:
Step 1 - The goal is to be logged into the right Umbrella organization; one that is enabled with Secure Connect.
Step 2 - The goal is to be logged into the right Meraki organization; one that will be enabled with Secure Connect.
Step 3 - The goal is to exchange API Keys; the email is just a link to the UI where that is done.
One must be logged into the correct organizations (steps 1 & 2) to do this step.

Administrative User Setup
Once you setup and link your accounts, there is an option to add additional administrators before configuring the Secure Connect services.

Data Storage Location Setup
The Hosting Region of the Meraki organization must be compatible with the Data Storage region of the Umbrella organization.
The following configurations are compatible:
